No regrets whatsoever - this move was long overdue. The faction that forced the move understood the simple adage: "if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best."

No way to play 'what if we stayed' - the better game to play is 'look closely at Year One and figure out how to get better.'

Nothing you can do about a hurricane - so the FL loss was a good learning experience. Would LA tech gone differently in week 1? Who knows - but we lost at home in our very first everything game. Ok, stuff happens.

The LSU loss is the one that really chaps me - mostly because I'm so old I was in grad school when we played them all the time, and the guy in the office next door was a purple kitty...which gave us a reason to talk smack all year long.

That's the only question mark of the season - we win that game and we go to ATL for a shot at it all. But we didn't, so we're not.

Talking smack to my LSU friends we gave them an early Christmas present, but in reality it was a flat-out team loss: JFF played like a fish, we couldn't tackle, we couldn't kick FG's - and the Mad Hatter's crew curb-stomped us at home.

But - we seemed to have learned from that humiliation and improved as the season unfolded. That's precisely the culture change missing under Fran/Sherman that Kaiser pointed out, and it's wonderful.

So no regrets - we came up short and that's motivation to BTHO LSU - starting on the recruiting trail and culminating in a prime-time, nighttime beatdown in Baton Rouge next year. There won't be enough alcohol in the state of Louisiana to cure that butthurt.
:)

Thanks and Gig 'Em!
