Agree that things need to be shaken up. But unless you have a home run in the wings...and I mean a HOME RUN...you're risking absolutely everything.

Besides...I didn't see them losing the team as much as I did lack of leadership on the field. It was in crunch time against Vandy, Syracuse and Florida when things went bad. We were in position to win each of those

yeah, but you just said it best...lack of leadership on the field. Hell, lack of leadership on and off the field.

What makes you think that all of the sudden Pinkel's amazing leadership qualities come back next year? I believe that next year will be more of the same. With Pinkel, we'll probably win the same amount of games or perhaps a couple more. If we win a couple more games, that still leaves us as a 7 win team...which Mizzou athletics isn't willing to accept anymore.

I agree with most of what you've said. If he is indeed a goner, we better hire a true Superstar Coach or we're going to take a huge step backward.

All I know for certain is that Mizzou football is in crisis right now, and if we're not careful, we'll have wasted a really good team full of talent, and we'll have wasted DGB.

It's sorta sad.

I agree. Its very easy and simple for people to look past other factors and go straight after the coaching staff. There is zero reason for Mizzou to throw their hat into an already crowded ring looking for a head football coach.
