A lot of it depends on if Texas goes to the Cotton Bowl.

Assuming no major surprises, the Big 12 will look like this:

Kansas State 8-1 (11-1) <BCS>
Oklahoma 8-1 (10-2) <BCS>
Oklahoma State 6-3 (8-4) <Alamo>
Texas 5-4 (8-4) <Cotton>

If Texas beats Kansas State, however, you have a big fat mess.

Oklahoma 8-1 (10-2) <BCS>
Kansas State 7-2 (10-2)
Texas 6-3 (9-3)
Oklahoma State 6-3 (8-4)

Kansas State is not a BCS at large team. Would the Cotton snub a 10 win Kansas State AGAIN in favor of Texas? (1998 all over again) Probably.

Here's a bigger mess:

Kansas State 7-2 (10-2) <BCS>
Oklahoma 7-2 (9-3)
Texas 6-3 (9-3)
Oklahoma State 6-3 (8-4)
TCU 5-4 (8-4)

Would the Cotton Bowl take Texas over Oklahoma at that point or would the Cotton want to see Oklahoma vs. LSU?

That is potentially problematic. I could see them potentially choosing OU v. LSU because both fan bases would have to revel, this hotel money. But, there are a lot of Sooners in the Metroplex anyway, and it would generate less enthusiasm than UT v A&M. I will say that the Cotton loves A&M. We've been the selection a couple of times when we just didn't deserve it.
