No argument here. Russell won't be able to catch Madkin for career passing yards since he didn't start until his Junior year. I think Russell may have broken the single season passing yards record against Ark. today.

He did. And Madkin only had somethjng like 6000 yards. Russell has about 2500 this season and around 1200 last season, not to mention two more games to play and another season. If he doesn't pass Madkin next year we'll be in for a long season.
ETA: Russell has 4192 passing yards. Madkin had 6336 passing yards. Assuming Russell passes for at least 400 in Egg Bowl+Bowl Game he'll need less than 1800 yards next season to pass Madkin.

Yeah, he should get it easy as long as he stays healthy. I didn't realize Russell had so many yards going into this season.
