I had a thread on this earlier. For a coach of his caliber, Saban doesn't really dominate at home. There's the blown 24 point lead to Auburn, losing at home to LSU last year, losing at home this year to Texas A&M, losing to Louisiana-Monroe, losing to UAB, losing 31-0 at home to Fran in '02, getting shut out offensively and losing to a true freshman QB at home in '03, etc.... Compare that to coaches like Bobby Bowden in his heyday, Les Miles, Steve Spurrier while at UF, and Bob Stoops who have incredible records at home.

He should replace his grass with crimson turf. Then he could dress his players all crimson and play ninja football.

Seriously, though.. Three seasons in a row, Bama has laid a horrible smelling egg in Bryant-Denny. Two of which had championship implications. The third being the biggest choke in the team's history. And half of the lesser games played there, the team sleepwalks through. BDS is a great venue with a lot of history, but it seems Bama still hasn't grown into the place as it's "big game" home. The specter of Legion Field looms large.. As a matter of fact, I vote next year, we move the LSU game to Bham, throw down some astro-turf and party like it's 1978..
