We will see how it goes next year with a re-tooled oline chief. You are riding high for now. It takes a special program and coach to sustain success in the sec. You guys may have it but I need to see more. A lot more. We have the defense built to stop that offense all day everyday. So does Florida and so will bama and everyone else next year.

Currently only 1 member of that OLine is definitely leaving. It is HIGHLY unlikely Jake Matthews leaves as he certainly doesn't need the money (Dad is a HOF Lineman) and next year he will be able to play with his highly regarded brother starting at Center. Joekel has indicated he is staying but certainly the money may be too much to pass up, though he also has his twin brother still playing as backup QB. A&M has OLine depth though, there are probably 6 players on the roster right now that will play NFL ball. Still, if they all do leave that would be a tough thing to replace.

The bigger concern is defensive depth. A&M is a lot more Sr heavy and less deep there. The incoming talent is higher rated but still it's not proven.

As I said, recruiting is no guarantee of success but it definitely matters. Lay down your smack as you like but if A&M is going from very good recruiting to elite recruiting to go with the coaches and resources in place they can be even better than the team that just rolled into Tuscaloosa.

The only thing that has held A&M back is a perception that somehow we wouldn't compete amongst those to young to know better.
