IMHO, there will be changes coming with regards to the "spread" offense.

Teams run the "spread" offense b/c the coaches are not good enough to teach toughness, physicality, and discipline. It's the easiest offense to run, and it requires little knowledge and understanding of defenses and such. I know aTm (along with Oregon & WVU) fans will scream bloody murder; however, the facts are what they are.

Pretty soon, something will be done b/c the advantage is FAR and BEYOND that of an equal playing field.

Teams like LSU and Bama are actually coached to play the game of football and to BEAT the man in front them. Not try to run around him, or chop block him, or run 7-wide the entire game; that's PS3 football .

The spread offense really and truly is a "cheap" offense.

Yeah, Urban Meyer is a fricking idiot.

This is the single most uneducated football opinion I've ever read, and I've read the shite they post on Texags. This is special even by those lofty standards. You literally have no clue what you're talking about.
