OP's got a great point. Also, we should not expect a QB to improve from his freshman to his soph year. And we should not expect a coach to improve from his first year to his second. And it probably won't matter that Brandon Williams will be eligible next year, nor any of the other of the legions of players returning.

Johnny has improved as a passer. Imagine 3 more years under Larry Jackson. Yea, scary.
