1 of the losses was a RS Fish's first snap ever in college. If our fist game does not get Hurricane'd out I think we beat FL. As for the LSU Game 5 turnovers and Freshman mistakes cost us.
I am cautiously optimistic that next year will be better next year, but potentially losing 2 top 10 Draft picks on the OL is scary.

In my opinion, over/under achieving is based on what the expectations were during preseason compared to where you are at the end of the season. 2011 A&M team underachieved a lot. Preseason top 10, and finished unranked with a 7-6 record. This year we started unranked and will finish a top 10 team barring any choking acts. USC seems like they fit the bill for the 2011 A&M type underachievers, and are just as overrated as we were.

Take it from LSU this year and the injury parade we've endured -- DON'T count your chicks before they hatch. Manziel should definitely be reason enough for optimism.

2011 A&M was preseason #9.
2012 USC was preseason #1
I'd say that 3 losses this early in the year by USC and the great Matt Barkley is far worse than last year for us. At least we knew Sherman was a terrible coach...then again, they have Kiffin.

Kiffin is terrible IMO. Has the players, program prestige, and perfect location at USC. A&M isn't USC and CS isn't LA. Choking at USC is like someone giving you a Ferrari and a mansion and you still can't get laid.

Who give a frick....so what u beat bama you still are a mediocore SEC team. Talk shite when u win a SEC tiltle or better yet a BCS title. And the 1 Big 12 title dose'nt count

I'm just fine with that bar continuing to rise. With 2 losses this year the big prize is out of reach but A&M is only getting stronger. All A&M has accomplished now is we showed we are capable. Next season we get a real shot at going for the prize, especially with our schedule.
