Maybe there's nothing to "figure out". Maybe it's simply a great scheme being executed by a level of talent never before seen in said system.

Typically, the Air Raid is run by lesser teams to even the playing field. A&M is the first team with elite, top-10 skill position and offensive line talent to try it. Perhaps it simply isn't going to be "figured out" at the level we run it.

You say that in time teams will adjust, but even if they do you are discouting Manziel's development. The dude in going to be unstoppable in 2-3 years when he has all the reads down.
