Posted by Message Roger Klarvin So what was the defensive scheme that shut down JFF Yes, really. Manziel put up more total yards on LSU than anyone not named Geno Smith has in the last two years. That is a fact.

How many were put up between midway Q2 and when the game was over before LSU's prevent defense on the second to last drive when the game was over? TAMU had 200 yds the midway Q2. after that nothing until 1 min left in the game. The 78 yd kick off return was not him and they had to settle for a fg. He put it up 56 time threw 3 picks and no tds. That's about a 83 rating. 27 yds rushing.

80 were on the last drive. He also had a shite load the defense took back from him on all those freakin int returns. Southern Miss did the same thing to the slim offense last year while he was at UH with a Heisman caliber QB.
Rewatch the game and see what they did to him. Go watch that beat down of WVU AND OREGON from last year and see the common outcome. Lots of yards and physically beaten by a better team. Mett had a terrible game.
LSU offense or lack thereof is the only reason why TAMU didn't suffer the beat downs that Oregon and WVU did last year.
