Yes. He did admit he made some gambles and he lost. It happens. But if our offense finishes a couple more of those drives, it would be a moot point because there never would have been a fake field goal attempt.

Sure. In hindsight, we shouldn't have run the ball 3 straight plays when a first down would have kept that drive alive -- the drive that could have sealed the deal. It's been a problem in more than a few games this year (A&M, Carolina) but in those games we had a bigger lead. That is far more concerning to me than a fake field goal attempt or failed onside kick because it's a pattern that keeps happening. Finishing drives is our #1 problem. And that is ultimately a coaching problem.

Can't really blame the coaches for that. And the zebras missed an equally flagrant and highly visible (to anyone with eyes) personal foul committed by one of Bama's players.
