Sad sad day when I graduated and left the student section.
Its this way everywhere. Every fanbase has their "sittttdown ay cane seeee" crowd.
If you're in the older crowd and dont want people standing the entire game, ok i get it. But it absolutely infuriates me when I get told to sit down on 3rd down or a big offensive possession.
I'm talkin punch a kid mad.

How many National titles has a 65 year old Bama seen? They just don't care as much as the rest of us.

Eh, maybe I'm more critical because its my team, but I definitely think we could be a lot louder.
Don't even get me started with the "sit down" crowd. My first game after I graduated I was told that, and I sat. Only to appease someone who didn't make a noise the entire game. I stopped doing that. Now I just look at them and say "it's a college football" and shrugg my shoulders. In Dallas for the Michigan game I had a middle aged woman grab my shirt. Almost lost it.
Point is the only control a fan has at a game is to be loud and intimidate/disrupt play calling. It's a big factor.
