Which I might add..... IS THE VERY frickING DEFINITION OF "TREASON" ACCORDING TO THE U.S. CONSTITUTION.
Uhhmmmmm no. Firing upon a Union outpost is a declaration of war by the Confederacy. The south quit cause it couldn't get it's way in congress etc... So we threw a fit, attacked a union outpost and then the Union said frick you, outlasted the south, and burned a shite ton of it to the ground. Don't proclaim war if you aren't ready to do what it takes to win it.

Wrong. The South seceded peacefully. They withdrew their consent from a VOLUNTARY union which they helped to voluntarily create in the first place.
Q: What do you think we celebrate on the 4th of July jackass?
A: Secession!
You are a fool and a robot and are embarassing yourself.

Aside from the fact the Confederacy didn't simply, "declare war" against the Union, the obvious double standard here is mind boggling. If the South had gone into Northern cities and acted the way the North did here, it would be referenced incessantly as exemplifying the immorality and brutality of the South. But because the North did it, it is somehow justified. Perfect example of winners writing and interpreting the history.
