So this is turning out to be a little different then I thought when first announced.

Apparently "champions bowl" was just a hold over name. It will be named Sugar Bowl if in New Orleans or Cotton Bowl if in Dallas.

The Cotton Bowl should have been considered a BCS bowl all along. Our win over Arkansas should really be considered a BCS win.

Does anyone else think this quasi playoff set up that has a 12 year commitment is going to be just as big of a joke as the current set up?

Been a little out of the loop on selection since the beginning of this season. Are they still talking about having a selection committee and requiring no more than two teams from each conference?

If so, big joke.

I don't really know.. I think they're trying to not put a cap on number of teams from conferences.
