To the contrary it proves my point. One close game does not mean that necessarily two teams/programs are close in overall talent-prestige.
LSU barely beat Ole Miss in TS in OT in 2006 for instance but finished 11-2 and next season won the NC. How close Ole Miss came to that?

If we are such a premier program and they are so rinky-dink why do you keep making excuses as to why the game was close ?
