You mean game plan wise? It worked great in the first half, but when chavis made adjustments, A&M didn't really do much with the ball. The problem was LSUs offense is so inept that we won't put games like that away.

So, A&M didn't move the ball after the first half. The last drive making the score 24-19 didn't really count because LSU was in prevent. That's the argument. A&M did nothing after the first half. Is that right?

3rd Quarter:
LSU drive: 3 plays 9 yards, 01:38 LSU PUNT
TEXASAM drive: 6 plays 17 yards, 03:03 TEXASAM PUNT
LSU drive: 3 plays 0 yards, 00:30 LSU PUNT
TEXASAM drive: 6 plays 37 yards, 02:17 TEXASAM INT
LSU drive: 8 plays 23 yards, 04:48 LSU FGA
TEXASAM drive: 5 plays 14 yards, 01:29 TEXASAM PUNT
LSU drive: 3 plays 5 yards, 01:23 LSU PUNT
4th Quarter:
TEXASAM drive: 4 plays 14 yards, 01:20 TEXASAM FGA
LSU drive: 12 plays 55 yards, 04:57 LSU FG
TEXASAM drive: 3 plays 2 yards, 01:07 TEXASAM FGA
LSU drive: 7 plays 26 yards, 02:33 LSU PUNT
TEXASAM drive: 5 plays 29 yards, 01:35 TEXASAM INT
LSU drive: 1 play 47 yards, 00:08 LSU TD
After that, it don't matter.
Drive killers and frickups are in bold. We were moving the ball on both of those drives and the 33 yard field goal should have hit. No excuse, but this thing was far from over. Who gets credit for the interceptions?
If the premise of the OP is true, LSU may need to think about another offense too, because they were only gained about 150 yards in the second half and 310 for the game.
