How many Gators for life are these CBS games producing??

As much as I dislike the 3:30 CBS time slot with Verne's old arse, I can't help but think how we are reaching out to all corners of the country each & every week.
3:30 CBS games broadcast from coast-to-coast, correct?? I talk to Gator fans all the time who first fell in love simply by flipping thru the channels and landing on a Gator game by chance. I'm talking about 7 year old kids from California, Texas, Rhode Island, etc. They fell in love with the Gators randomly at an early age, and have been bleeding O&B ever since. Many of which did not attend UF, and have never even been to the Swamp for a game. They are still part of Gator Nation, and will pass on their allegiance to the next generation.
How many on here fall into this category??

P.S. we need more traffic on this board......even if its random/silly topics such as this. Scrolling thru the other boards, and we are by far the slowest & least populated. Even the leghumpers get more posts in one afternoon than we have in total. Step it up y'all

I actually like the 2:30 cbs games with Vern and Gary.( odd i know). Vern is the best to play a drinking game with. Every time he mispronounces a players name you drink.lol

I love Verne. Yes, he makes mistakes and he's a bit of a clown at times, but his voice is southern football.

I can attest to this, especially after I moved from Florida to Michigan. Dont know why, but that broadcast had a unique feel to it for me.

I fall into this category. I have yet to make it to the Swamp. I have only been to LSU/Florida games in Death Valley and the Sugar Bowl victory vs Cincinnati.

Well get on down here for a game! After two years, the water is finally nice and warm again. LSU and USCe were a blast.

gatorsports present! lol and im one of those channel flippers. Fell in love around 96-97 when Fred Taylor,Travis Mcgriff,Travis taylor, Jacquez Green and company were running things

I have tried to the last two home games vs LSU since all of my friends are LSU fans. I was very glad I did not go 2 years ago when we lost on the stupid fake field goal lucky bounce, but I was very mad I did not get to go this year. Something always seems to fall through when we plan it out.

LOL... I'm new to the site and I noticed that as well. I was just browsing the butt sniffers board to see what kind of shite talking was going on over there.... definitely more than is going on over here.

Yes, but got to get rid of Gary Danielson, it seems like every gator game he does he's constantly making negative comments about us and our being over rated.

I like 'ol Verne and Gary. I think they do a good job.
