State has remained injury free throughout its season. However, as we have all been told, State has played the weakest schedule in the country. Since State has no chance of beating a dominant Alabama squad, should State keep its starters out of the game? Could preventing injuries to its starters allow State to pick up possibly one more win in the regular season?

Alabama intentionally hurts players, so yes.

We've been resting them and playing vanilla all season. They're probably bored by now. Give 'em a challenge and play 'em at Bama.

Yea I would probably keep your starters out and let the backups win, you want them to be fully ready to go in national championship. That will be your first challenging game, and Merlin may even have to call some non-vanilla plays to beat Oregon.

There is a strong correlation between IQ levels and people's ability to pick up on sarcasm. This is why that dumb chick you had class with never understood it.

yet Tennessee's players were caught on camera trying to rip off LaDarius Perkins' helmet so he would have to sit out a play

ETA: after the play was blown dead

I can tell you from my experience moving from La. to Ms. for 20 years and my wife is a cowbell ringing State grad.. the MS. schools split the talent 50/50, with a few leaving the state for LSU or Bama, therefore , they only have one 1st string that can play. They do not have a 2nd string that can play good enough. LSU or BAMA's 2nd string can play and all start at State. Our 3rd string could start at Ole Miss..BAMA's 3rd string could start at OLE MISS, maybe State... They can't rest starters, never happen..
