The problem is that there has to be a #1 right now, and there isnt a single team in the country that has performed to the level that Alabama has. Therefore, there is really only 1 logical answer to who that team is and it can't be based on anything other than what they have done so far.

And this is absolutely fine. But it can't be for the reason that they have gone through their schedule and "not been challenged". This is all I'm saying. You didn't need to get your panties in a wad.
