Being this may be the only way we beat Kentucky this year, whats everyones thoughts on this game?

The only game I've watched them play was against Louisville I think it was. They basically got bitch slapped. Have they improved since?

Never mind,I looked at thier schedule and it looks like the only win they had was against Kent State. They've been getting bitch slapped all year. I don't even think they have as good a team as say Kansas from the old conference. Plus they have to go through the Georgia meat grinder before us.

Finally, we get to play a game where our opponent has'nt had a bi-week!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say we take this one for our first conference win. I know, I know.... it's a but risky on my part for being so bold and nieve, but I just got a feeling...

I'm really looking forward to it as well. Hopefully Franklin can get healthy so we can get this offense going.

We need everyone to get healthy, but I don't see it happening. I'm calling a close game we lose in the 4th quarter because of stinkel. His seat will officially start to warm up if and when he goes 0-8 in his first SEC season, injuries be damned. I really hope I'm wrong, but just not seeing a whole lot of things to excite me.

Having said that let's go cards!

I believe Kentucky matchup will prove to be Mizzou's first SEC win this fb season. That won't dispell much of the fan criticism that has been predominately directed toward the coaching staff. But interesting enough, and to put this into perspective, Mizzou's current 3-4 record is the exact record the team had at the same point last year.

Is it possible for the team to win three of the next 5 games, absolutely. I expect the players and staff to prepare and execute with the intent to win each remaining game. I still believe worst case scenario is that we end the season at 6-6. The up side still exists for winning record of 7-5 or even 8-4.

If we are to recognize the generally accepted consensus that the SEC is the premier FB conference in the nation...and the idea that competing against the "best" would challenge our program to improve in many ways....I think we also need to remember that "Rome wasn't built in a day."

I think we beat Kentucky, but I dont really think this will be the landslide, finding our offense type of win that we really want.

If Pinkel does lose this game or Syracuse though, then its officially a Hotseat situation. None of the "Lets give him 20 years, retire on his own terms bullshite." Last year was okish/mediocre (a couple games in there we really should have won), this year would have been garbage, so next year we are going to see what happens.

GTFO Bandwagoner.

3 of our losses are to top 10 teams. The other we lost strictly because Corbin Berkstresser is terrible.

I think we will beat Kentucky. I see 6-6 at this point as being the best they can do. 7-5 would be a stretch because it would mean winning 2 out of @Tenn @Florida and @a&m. I hope for a blow out type win but an ASU/UCF type win is more likely regardless of whether it's Franklin or Berk.

I actually agree with this. Kills you are a cool dude, but you are bailing on us when the going is getting tough. You would still be here if we were winning, and its not like anybody else has bailed except for you.

No bailing here, I'm just not seeing anything changing therefore I should expect the same results. I'll be at the Kentucky game cheering my arse off just hoping we win that game.

I was talking about Kills specifically. We are all still here, but he has ran off.

I might come up for that Kentucky game too.

Call me all the names you want. That's cool. One thing I'm not is a bandwagoner. I was eating pussy before half of y'all were born so go sit on a sharp stake and wiggle your arse on that stake.

I can't help if y'all are day dream believers for a team that has no hope this season. For one thing....I'm here and have been here the entire time. Just focusing more on a winning team right now (cards) for the little time left in their WS run...so frick off bitches.

Hell, maybe I should simply say frick the Tigers and switch allegiance to the razorbacks? We'd make a great team.

Y'all don't want me to do that. Trust me.

Sincerely yours,

Miss Sue Kells

Come on now. We have to remember, he's a freshman behind a chopped up O-line and no help from his coaches or recievers at times.

I will say one thing. I think Berk would be a better fit for say a conventional offense. He just doesn't seem to have that quick burst like Franklin. I was in hopes Pinkel would force Yost to game plan around his strengths, but that does'nt seem the case.

I agree with you completely. This offense's rhythm is all out of sync because of pass protection issues.

I don't think we could find a way to lose to this Kentucky team, they are reaching into an epic realm of badness this season.

I am probably the most critical of anybody on this Mizzou Board first off. I am an enormous Cards fan, but that doesnt mean to hell with the other teams. Am I more excited about the Cards and Rams right now? Of course. But I am not leaving the board.
