During the tackle his left toe gets planted in the turf and you can see it plainly overextend. I think he may have strained something in his ankle or at least sustained some sort of temporary trauma to it.

He also prob tweaked his back. I don't have much sympathy for him though...I'm sure that RB for Mizzou's back doesn't feel great today either.
