also another thing that is not being taken into consideration is that from an AD standpiont, yes you want to make a hire that gets the team back into the national discussion, but the one thing that you don't want to do, is to make a hire that blows up the organization, and petrino without question has the capability to do that.
In other words, the rewards can be very high. But the risks involved i just don't see a major AD taking that chance. that is the type of hire that if it blows up will hae an AD looking for a new line of work, frick a new job. There are too many safer hires out there that inmght not have the same upside per say, but they aren't screw this up and find a new career type hires that petrino would be i.
Auburn's Ad is on thin ice as it is, petrino goes down there nad has success for 3 years and then does whatever the frick and has to leave, everything goes to shite, the AD will never direct shite again.
I odn't care either way and in a way i want to see him back.. his teams are fun as shite to watch. but i just don't see it.
