ETA: I'm just going to agree to disagree here.

As far as my fandom, since there is such thing as a life outside of UK for me I'll just say I have my reasons for not attending some events. Feel free to keep questioning my fandom though as I've attended many events, Big Blue Madness included, for several years. And frankly you're not worth saying something that will get me banned either.

That's the last I have to say on it because I don't particularly care to continue talking about it with some elitist who thinks someone not living in Lexington and who doesn't attend every event for some very valid reasons can't be a fan.

Louisville is desperately hoping the state defaults on the Yum Center so they can purchase it and keep not just us but the NBA out.

In default the bondholders are first in line. Since that is little old ladies with blue hair in the bluegrass that means UK will own YUM before UL. I therefore tend to doubt your observation.

Playing the late slot on Super Tuesdays has given us plenty of exposure with the ESPN contract so I'm not sure why you're so hung up on it.

Again, which gets better ratings Saturdays or Tuesdays? You keep dodging the answer instead of admitting that it is better to get the saturday dates for your highest exposure. I have been to a whole lot of games and weekend games always have better crowds than weekdays. Look I love Atlanta but playing a late night game on tuesday will not be near as loud and UK centric as playing the same game on saturday. Is it just possible that this negates a UK edge?

your elitist arse

Ha Ha, that is a joke. I am the one fighting to keep UK games for the masses and not the few at the top. Do not confuse elite with educated as that is how folks in the middle and bottom get screwed. Educate yourself and you can fight with the elite or stay ignorant and let them own you.

the last evening I spent with my now deceased little brother was at a UK basketball game three years ago

I can empathize with that as it was the same for me and my now deceased sibling. We all mourn in different way and I extend my sympathy for your loss. While it does not negate my sadness I can take their kids from your general area and create new memories in another generation. Not saying this works for all but it has helped me in my period of grief.
