Tyler Wilson was the best last year when he had. Childs, Adams, Hamiltion, and Wright. All 4 are NFL WRs. He also had Bobby P, who is one of the most gifted play callers directing that offense.
Without all of that he looks like pretty pedestrian.
If you give give any QB, 4 NFL WRs and Bobby P they will put up solid numbers.
Nobody discredits Wilson for all of those advantages, but are quick to discredit McCarron because of his percieved advantages.

Wilson has and has had a shitty offensive line in front of him. Look at the beatings he's taken over the past two years. Even with that, he took advantage of his situation and looked great. That's the mark of a good quarterback.
I'm not one of those people. McCarron is way up there on my list too. He's got the arm, but is smart enough to play within his system. McCarron is the reason I think Alabama is head and shoulders above the rest of the country. You have that dominant defense and an offense than can run and pass. Profit.
