I'm planning on driving up to Columbia early Saturday and am planning on being there for game day. Have heard the colonial life arena is good place to park. Couple of questions. How fast will parking go? What kind of traffic should I expect? And what time should I try to arrive in Columbia?

Games been secretly moved to Charlotte, but they are keeping it hush, tell all dawgs to head that way.

J/K The Gameday show is at the Horseshoe, so most students won't need to drive there. Those that do drive in probably have garage spots near campus. The Colonial Life Arena lot should be pretty open on a Saturday morning, but will fill up around the early afternoon as fans come in.

There is a shuttle that goes from the Arena to the Fairgrounds (right beside Williams Brice Stadium) and I think it's just a couple bucks.

If you are trying to get to the beginning of the Gameday show (9 a.m.) I don't see anyway that the Arena parking lot is full before then. The Horseshoe is about 3 blocks east of that location.

You can go to the Gameday show and then head down to where you parked your car to catch the shuttle to the stadium. The shuttle will pickup at the same spot it dropped you off and return you to the Arena parking lot...just with a UGA loss.

Eat at the motor company or whatever that place is called. Straight fire. Also had a great dinner at a wine bar that was right across the street from out hotel. There is nice restaurant scene in that city.

CIYE,

If I park in the fairgrounds in the morning, can I get a shuttle to the arena? Or is it just from arena to fairgrounds?
