I agree 100% with everything written in this response. The only thing I might add is that the issue with today's media types is that just because one has 1st Amendment rights doesn't necessarily mean they have to always exercise it. Today's media seems less concerned about the facts than they are about their own opinions.

That said, I do agree and will fight for the right of the media to be wrong as often as they want.

On a lighter note, it occurred to me that it is wholly appropriate for the weather forecast to be included with the local news...now both can be wrong most of the time and still keep their job. I'll bet that's not true with most professions. (LOL)
