The SEC's League Director of Officials is a bama grad. Fact. In that capacity he has regular wkly meetings with each crew. Fact. Use it to make any point you want. But, when that fact is combined with the fact that the league's office is in Birmingham, why is it then not common sense that conspiriacy theories pop up so often? Saban is a great college football coach. No question. But to relate the fact that bama went over 10+ games without being called for holding, when as the saying goes,"holding could be called on every play", to his coaching greatness, is a major stretch. He is known as a DB coach, not an OL coach.
