Good lord. How did Rocky Top manage to put up that kind of offense on UGA? We are in it deep folks. GP needs to figure it out, cause the East is crazy this year.

I think that our defense is better than their defense, but their offense is far and away better than ours. But they have Miss State, Bama, and South Carolina coming the next three weeks. Lets see how they are by the time that is all done with. I dont think they win any of those games.

I think you're right. Best they could probably do is 1-2 in that stretch. Meanwhile, before we see Tennessee we better beat Vandy and Kentucky. If we lose one of those, we'd need to beat Syracuse and either Tennessee or A&M in November.
I'm confident we lose to Alabama and Florida.

We should beat Syracuse and Kentucky. Vandy is a toss up at this point if you ask me. Tenn, Flo, Bama and A&M all look losses to me at this point. Hope they prove me wrong and steal one or two more in there. I think 6-6 is pretty safe bet though.

I hate being confident in losses, but yes. We will lose these games. I think we beat Vandy at home. UT and aTm are gonna be tough. I thought last years schedule was a grind, but holy shite. Welcome to the SEC I guess.

The UGA/UT game is called an old fashion traditional game between those two. Believe me UT will not be up to play the Tigers like they are to play UGA and Bama.

My baseline level goal to start the year was just get to 6 wins and make a bowl. I was hopeful certainly about winning at places like A&M or Tennessee, but there was a chance that those programs were gonna improve this year and make that a tougher task even though they'd been down last year. That has happened, coupled with us facing myriad issues. So you have to be realistic about it.
A large part of our fanbase will probably be upset if we wind up in the Compass Bowl or Indy Bowl or whatever. But 8 straight bowl games is still solid and its really really critical for program perception in the South and nationally to say that we *DID* make a bowl game in our first year of SEC play. Its just so critical to have that kinda street cred. So the focus, given this team and the problems its facing in terms of injuries, execution, play calling, etc, has GOT to be protect your turf against Vandy, Kentucky, Syracuse and get your arse to another bowl. Anything beyond that is just plain gravy, unless/until we elevate our level of play and execution somewhat...but at this point I don't think any of us are holding our breath for that with this group.

You read my mind today. Was thinking of starting a thread on this today but got to lazy.
I was thinking that there may be more parity in the East this year.
