Texas A&M averages 45 points per game and allows 12.33 points per game.

They scored 17 against Florida (allowing 12.75), 48 against SMU (allowing 35.67), and 70 against South Carolina State (allowing 39.75).

Against their opponents, they have scored an average of 15.61 ppg more than their opponents allow.

They allowed 20 to Florida (averaging 30.50), 3 to SMU (averaging 26.33), and 14 to South Carolina State (averaging 15.25).

Against their opponents, they have allowed an average of 11.69 ppg less than their opponents' scoring average.

Arkansas averages 26.50 ppg and allows 36.25 ppg.

They scored 49 against Jacksonville State (allowing 41.33 ppg), 31 against Louisiana-Monroe (allowing 36.33 ppg), 0 against Alabama (allowing 5.25 ppg), and 26 against Rutgers (allowing 12.75 ppg).

Against their opponents, they have scored an average of 3.45 ppg more than their opponents allow.

They allowed 24 points to Jacksonville State (averaging 24 ppg), 34 to Louisiana-Monroe (averaging 34.67 ppg), 52 to Alabama (averaging 42 ppg), and 35 to Rutgers (averaging 27 ppg).

Against their opponents, they allowed an average of 4.34 ppg MORE than their opponents score.

Using A&M's average vs. Arkansas' stats:

A&M scores 52 and allows 14

Using Arkansas' average vs. A&M's stats:

Arkansas scores 16 and allows 49

Taking the four scores mentioned, you get:

A&M 52 Arkansas 14
A&M 52 Arkansas 16
A&M 49 Arkansas 14
A&M 49 Arkansas 16

Averaging those out, you get A&M 51, Arkansas 15.

That is BAD folks.

If I were to apply only our formula to the rest of our opponents: (+15.61, -11.69)

A&M 41 at Ole Miss 25
A&M 52 at Louisiana Tech 42
LSU 28 at A&M 26
A&M 39 at Auburn 6
A&M 28 at Mississippi State 24
at Alabama 26, A&M 21
at A&M 42 SHSU 21
at A&M 41 Missouri 17

I think we would already start building a statue to Sumlin in the offseason if we go 10-2 with two one score losses to Bama and LSU.

You do remember that we're 2-1 right now, not 3-0. I'm sure you meant 9-3 (5-3).

There is one thing that slightly worries me though:

It appears as if all the opponent has to do is to survive the 2nd quarter.

We scored 14 2nd quarter points against Florida (82.3%), 20 2nd quarter points against SMU (41.7%) and 35 2nd quarter points against SCSU (50%).

Overall, 51.1% of our total scoring output has come in the 2nd quarter.

Here's the breakdown of our box scores vs. opponents:

1 2 3 4
Aggies 17 69 28 21
Opponents 14 3 6 14

All 21 3rd quarter points were scored against SMU. Counting SC State in that changes it since the game was over after the 2nd

Actually I think 3rd quarter should be 28 points. Regardless, hard to take into account the second halves of the last two games when we didn't have the starters in for major portions of them.

Actually, Math WIN The stats had us scoring between 49-52 and Arkansas scoring between 14-16.

Suppose it was a 52-16 prediction.

Take 6 points from Arkansas and give to us.
