Yep now were like any other mizzou message board on the inter webz

But really yost should just become a full time recruiter and leave the big boy jobs to people who are competent

You're right, I had this exact conversation with someone in como after the Georgia game. I can pretty much guess the play from just watching all of our games, I can only imagine how predictable the play calling is if you actually scout our game film.

Edit: maybe add a curls and slants route play as well. 6 plays, lol

What do y'all think about the rumor I read on Tigerboard about play calling now being shared between Yost and at least 2 other coaches?

I have an idea. Yost is by himself in the box, right? So, have him up there along with one of the OL coaches. They're in direct communication with the other offensive coaches on the sideline. And Hill actually calls the plays from the sideline. This would give the OL coach the opportunity to see exactly what the defenses are doing when they adjust against us, and be an active part of the play calling team. Thoughts?

Im game for some change. Its about the program and team so egos need to be put aside. Im not sure how they can sit in the film room on Sundays and not see some mismatches that are just not being exploited.

If changes are coming the time is now with the heart of our SEC schedule looming.

That's what I think too. But by post game it's too late to adjust to it. Since Yost has the least amount of playing experience among the coaches, at least from I've read, I think it would benefit him to have an OL coach there with him. That way, they could work together to adjust to what the defenses are doing.

The thing is, you can't fire an OC mid-season. And I'm not saying Yost should be fired, he brings some great things to our coaching staff. But if the post-game locker room fight is to be believed, he's rapidly losing the confidence of the players and other coaches. So, they need to figure out a solution that keeps the team cohesive so we don't end up with an Arky-like dumpster fire.

What about the rumor I heard that Pinkel is trying to bring on Petrino as OC (until Petrino finds a full time coaching spot). Yost will move back to full time recruiter and QB coach, while learning how to be a great OC behind Petrino.

Just a rumor. Not sure where I heard this...

No way Alden hires someone like Petrino. None.

And these rumors came from Tigerboard. The one about the locker room fight was from someone with insider info.

Bobby MF Petrino and Mizzou Staff don't operate under normal expectations. It would be a huge score (if true) and man would the Hog Lot meltdown.

In fact, I think I feel the heat right now from the meltdown...

Killz don't just make stuff up that makes me so excited! I wish it would happen because BMFP is a great offensive mind...but it'll never EVER happen.

Here in Austin there is a place called Yost Automotive. No joke.

I took my car there for scheduled maintenance and ever since when I step on the gas, the car veers sharply in a straight line from one side of the road all the way to the other side, then barely lurches forward a little bit at best. Same thing happens about 3 times in a row and then the engine just stalls completely without me having moved forward hardly at all.

I want a refund.
