Thoughts on the drink throwing and fighting

In the student section vs USA. Sounds pretty ridiculous to me. Also, if security searches harder on the east side, what measure would you go to to get the whiskey in?

To me it just sounds like they need to do a better job of monitoring the crowd, and the students need to stop being idiots with the fights. Every passionate student body is gonna have golden showers. But don't throw a full cup. Don't throw a bottle. Don't throw a bell. Whiskey showers are designated for when you have a third of a stadium cup of watered down whiskey. You throw it in the air in a flinging motion and it almost disappears and turns into a light mist. That's college football. The rest needs to stop now.
I have never not gotten whiskey into a football game. That goes for many games in the ole miss student section as well. Alumni will never have to worry about sneaking stuff in, unless you are just terrible at hiding things. If they really start cracking down on students, you just get someone to bring yours in and hand it over the fence to you. Might have to wait till it gets full to make the swap though. And you can always put a flimsy flask over your package and dare them to touch it.

I miss smoking cigs and throwing whiskey in the frat section.

The east side is much louder, even not in student section. That's what I learned last year. The year before I learned that they will take your cigs in tiger stadium and tiger fans will boo the cops for you. And I'm not even a real smoker. Just a little fyi if you are going this year.

30 Starkville PD are being added into the student section next game.
Students found throwing cups, saving seats, or fighting will be taken out of the student section and will have the remainder of their tickets taken up.

they better not check cups. No student deserves having one of the greatest things about college taken away from them. I was in college while Croom was there. Whiskey got me through football season.

No chance they check cups. It's WAY easier getting whiskey in this year than 2 years ago. They don't even check your pockets or anything

I witnessed that fight first hand. 2 of my friends got arrested, one of them was the one who threw the drink.

That's fricking bullshite. I agree on the fighting part but for saving a seat? I had a girl come in the game with me and she forgot her student ID and had to run and get it so I saved her a seat next to me. If a cop tells me I can't do that then he can take my ticket and shove it up his donut eating arse and I'll be damn sure to tell him that.

I haven't seen much of that... A group of friends will save a few seats but other than that it's become understood where everyone sits. Like where I sit it's always people from the delta, Kappa Sigs, and KDs since most of us are friends.

They would have jailed me during my time at State then. Once I caught a good buzz, I was a drink throwing machine.

And I've found that people seem to frown on banging my cowbell against the seats. I tell them you aren't a true state fan if your cowbell doesn't have dents in it. Pussies

Only time I threw a whole drink was when Croom punted against maine at the end of the game. Then for some reason I said, "frick it, let's go to ruby tuesday." I have no idea why I said that. I never even went to Ruby Tuesday in Starkville, but we went that night. I guess I just thought that was appropriate.

I just got a new one this year, someone stole my old one. It survived the first 3 games without a dent..the first quarter of the USA game christened it though

My dad tried to give me his from college. Since I am on my third one, I told him he better hold onto it. I haven't been taking mine though. I'd rather just not worry with it and if I get tipsy and feel like ringing one I will just take one from someone who isn't really using it.
