I'm in no way suggesting Saban wouldn't or couldn't be offered by an NFL team. But to suggest that NFL team's wouldn't be interested in him is just asinine.
His former boss, Belichik, no doubt would have been labeled an NFL bust based solely on his first attempt, but he worked his way back into another shot - just as Saban is doing right now.
It would definitely take the right situation for Saban to succeed, and there are no garuntees that he would, but surely Belichick and Tom Coughlin are examples that that mindset can work at the NFL level.Not to mention, Saban came back to the college game better than when he left, who's to say he wouldn't do the same with the Pro level - learning from his past mistakes.
