I've watched Mizzou for years and I can't remember the last time they beat a top ten team on the road. I think the Tigers are good enough to beat the Gamecocks, but except for when they play Texas A&M, Mizzou hasn't been a particularly good road team lately. I have a lot of respect for SEC crowds and I am sure Saturday will be intense for the visitors.

That being said, everyone keeps talking about how Mizzou's offense isn't going to be as successful against SEC defenses as they were in the Big12...and that is true...however...Mizzou's defense is also used to Big 12 offenses and no offense, but the best SEC offenses aren't in the same league with the best in the Big 12. I was at the GA game and until Mizzou imploded (which I blame on the coaches and the OL), I frankly wasn't very impressed with GA's offense. [Very impressed however with GA's defense]. Mizzou's defense is better than they get credit for. They are smallish but pretty quick, and they play well as a team.
