Miles, like any other good coach, is good partly because he makes great assistant hires, (OC being the exception)

I don't think miles is a brilliant x's and o's guy or a world class recruiter. He's obviously good enough at both. He's done a good job of securing home grown talent, hiring great assistants, and he is one of the best motivators in the game. His guys will run through a brick wall for him. All of those things make him a great coach. You have to be good at all of those things to be considered among the top.
