I would just as soon him not play. He isn't needed right now. He will be ruled ineligable more than likely for a year. Why risk having to forfeit every game he played in?

I'm not sure he will be ineligible at all. The school heard something from the NCAA today- so this might be why Redmond is tweeting he is playing. Just speculating though, I havent heard yet what we heard today

I don't have a link But it is standard policy to rule a player ineligible to appease the NCAA Gods in situations where the NCAA knows there was an issue. Again, why is everyone wanting to burn his redshirt? Dude is not needed at this point.
