i actually didn't think he looked too awful. i don't he was worthy of the hype he got as a recruit but i definitely see the positives. dude is as athletic as any QB in the SEC if not nation but his arm does not scare me. maybe it's his weapons too but as a passer consider me uninspired. but i mean i actually really like Pease (sp?) and with his offensive ingenuity i bet they can really find interesting ways to use driskel.

i am with my dawg friend here though because it's hard to see a pretty raw and new starter winning 2 SEC games on the road. as for your murray comparison he had

vs ULL (55-7) 17/26 160 yds 3 td 1 int / 42 yds rushing
@ USCe (6-17) 14/21 192 yds / 8 yds rushing

Jeff is 2-0 as a starter.
Murray was 1-1.

Winner Jeff.

114 yards passing in game one with a very vanilla offense trying to run the ball
162 yards passing in game two
No INTs
only 1 TD

He's not being asked to do much so it's no wonder you aren't impressed. If you don't think he'll live up to the billing then that's fine. I didn't think Murray would either after two games.

JD has no AJ if you didn't notice. He needs more tools around him and appears to be getting more comfortable.

Boom is trying to win running the ball. We really haven't tried or needed to pass a lot yet. It's going to be hard for Jeff to make you happy this year I'm afraid. That's a real shame too.

Bad thread title leads to the anchor. I'm not chasing this one down the list.
