The biggest problem I have relating to ND and the BCS, in addition to them having an equal vote, is the coming playoff. Being a conference champion, though not mandated, will rightfully be given a large weight. ND gets a free pass on this, which is wrong.

They have to win enough games for it to matter first bro. As long as they have USC and OSU and at least one of the michigans on the schedule, that shite aint gonna happen. You aren't going to find all of those teams all down enough at the same time to lose to ND. ND will never compete for anything ever again unless they lower their academic standards. It's just not gonna happen.
