They might. Missouri joined the East at the perfect time. UF, UT, & UG aren't exactly clicking on all cylinders. But we all know how dominant they can be. Main problem for Missouri will be recruiting.

Guys come on.. you're supposed to be the smartest fan bases in college football.

I'll educate you quick on Missouri's recruiting.

Bc they were so bad in the 90s kids grew up not loving Mizzou, thats changing.

Missouri actually produces a couple blue chippers every year, and a solid number of good players. They grab 10-12 solid in state players every year and throw in a couple from their out of state pipelines and they are set.

Missouri doesn't get credit for producing solid prospects bc they have scattered around the country in the past, thats changing.

They just got the #1 WR and OG in the nation last year. They went into FLA and got a kid that was going to play a lot as a FR but broke his hand, might redshirt him now bc of so much WR depth.

This is not something new. FL is so large we can support the three big schools, UCF and USF.

We have 3 star kids coming out of our ears. They all can't stay in state.

I understand your excitement, but would everything-Mizzou be so excited if you were still in the BigXII? Big10? Pac12?

I'm sure the answer is no.

With that, understand that those in the SEC prior to your arrival, good or bad, have contributed in many ways to what it has become. Mizzou has contributed nothing, yet. So be excited that you're apart of the best sports conference and enjoy it. But take it down a notch. You are not arriving as football-strong as you think. Tell your players to shut up because the SEC season is more than just playing UGA (without 4 defensive starters. Two of which are all-americans) and requires depth on both sides of the ball.
