I'd say your in the neighborhood of perception about the BigIIX days.
To answer your question simply...I believe we have already started transending away from that old conference. It started by keeping more in-state kids in state. Of coarse we do not have the history that alot of other SEC schools have. But what everyone has to realise, by adding two programs. The success of these two programs can solidify the SEC conference so much, I don't feel anyone can surpass it's success. It power in numbers, it's one team having a down year there will be 13 others with a chance. One is going to be trending up every year. Also if these new schools are successful, it's cudos for the SEC. It could then claim taking teams and turning them into champions, by being in the SEC.
