We just don't beat a 6-6 ACC shitball team and all of the sudden think we're the favorites despite being picked #4 by all publications for a period of six months.

NC State was actually considered to be a good team this year. Projected to win 8-10 games.

They had a qb that was the MVP at the Manning camp featuring Barkely, Wilson, Mcarron, and Bray.

They had everyone returning in what was considered one of the top secondary in the league including Amerson who is considered a top 10 overall pick.

They had their whole offensive line returning and everyone was projecting NC State to beat UT.

What does Vandy have?

Week 1 has not been kind the East, that is true.

USCe and UGA were both rusty, Tennessee's passing offense looked good but they still have question marks at running back, and Florida is tied with Bowling Green halfway through the 3rd qtr. All 4 of those teams, and possibly Vandy and Mizzou could potentially win the East. It's wide open because no one looks dominant after their first performances.
