Not really surprising, but good news. Auburn has been talking about doing this for years. An extra med school in the state is needed. There is already a shortage of doctors and it only going to get worse in the near future.

I'm pretty sure Auburn just won a bid recently for a pharmaceutical plant or something. suppose to create like 500 very well paying jobs or something

I would rather see a real doctor and maybe have to wait a little longer than have the state flooded with "holistic" doctors who can't get into medical school.
