I was probably being a little harsh on the ATL - it's no worse than Chicago. I've flown quite a bit out of the Top 7 (excluding LAX and JFK) and IAH, DEN and DFW seem to do a better job, overall.
Flying is just terrible since 9/11, period - it was getting better THEN shoe bomber and liquid bomber have made it just insufferable.
