KIrby Smart really ticked off a lot of people at UGA whose opinion will matter when a new coach is eventually hired. I sincerely doubt he will be the next head coach.

About every DB who has started at Alabama is in the NFL and and most were high draft picks, Javier Arenas, Kareen Jackson, Marquis Johnson, Mark Barron, Dre Kirkpatrick, Dequan Menzie.I'm sure I'm forgetting one or two, but that's why he's known as the best DB coach in the country I would guess.

Y'all would be fools to not hire Kirby. UA has played the politico HC hiring bullshite. Perkins hire, Stallings retirement, Debose hire. Many dark years of football if the PTB have their heads up their arse. Blinded by vendetta.
