As far as bars in Lexington go...Two Keys, Tin Roof, Trust (on Thursdays only), The Penguin, Redmons is a huge attraction downtown..and right in the area that Redmons is, there are a ton of bars. It's called the Pavillion.

Obviously hopefully you'd come when Keeneland is session. That's a huge attraction, and full of talent everywhere. Definitely try and hit up the Kentucky bourbon trail, but it may be hard to do all that in one weekend especially with a game.

As far as food goes, Ramseys, Malones, Sals, Pazzos, Joe Bs, Savs, Tolly Ho, Sawyers, DeSheas, all offer great food.

And if you're worried about women, well Lexigton and UK has plenty of it around. I might be biased (because I go to UK), but I've been to every SEC campus except Arkansas and aTm, but I would say were on par with the tops. Definitely no lower than middle of the SEC which is not bad at all.

Any other questions just ask. Lexington is a great place.

BC and CatFan has pretty well covered it. I'd also like to reiterate Keeneland if you're here during the meet. Tons of college kids. Beautiful track too.

What the hell is "Trust"? Never heard of that bar... did it take the place of gambino's, whatever it was changed to then closed down again?

I stuck to downtown bars when I was living there and out of college. 2 Keys, Tinroof, etc. is pretty lame when you are out of school and a professional.

-Harvey's-Hugo's(2 bars in 1)
-The irish bar next door(name escapes me been there a 1000x !!!!)
-Atomic Cafe(during the summer only)
-The Penguin
-Redmon's
-Cheapside,
-Sky Bar,
-that club at the very top of chase bank offices, -Busters(if a good band is there or you want to play pool during the week).

All of these bars are down town and within walking distance of each other. Thus you can bar hop around, and tons of people are down there.

Two Keys, Tin Roof, etc. is college only really. Downtown is a mix of college, and professional types.

I don't know how old you are, but if your not in college, go downtown.
