To elaborate they would be Auburn. The share the same defensive philosophy, which is evidenced by the coaches who have coached at both schools. They are always talented. Their offenses are up and down. They compete for the conference crown regularly. When they get Vince Newton, they win it all.

They beat Pac 10/12 teams for titles.

That actually isn't a bad comparison. Steady and competitive on a very regular basis minus oddball timing. A good bet to win 8 to 10 a year and be a pain in the arse to a lot of teams.

Auburn is in the same state as Alabama football.

Texas runs shite in their state. Not a good comparison.
