1967-70 were some pretty sucky years for Bama Football. The worst stretch under Bear.
1970 was a strange year. OM beats the crap out of Alabama, then LSU beats Alabama, MSU beats an Archie"less" OM then LSU beats OM like 6,100 to 17 (embellish here) with Archie in a cast.

I'd say 1969 and 1970 were bad years. We went 8-2-1 in 1967 and 8-3 in 1968. Sub-par years when you take into account 1960-1966, but far from mediocre.
