I finally agree with something you posted.


It wasn't just Les beating Bama that pulled LSU fans back over to the his good side. The fact that he beat FLA helped as well, since he had lost to both teams + UGA the prior two years.

Les did not have a very good '08 showing coming off a NC year. He was forgiven for that season due to QB issues. Bama running the table in '09 didn't help Les' popularity either. But his turn around in '10 swayed the opinions back in his favor. And last season speaks for itself, he had his best year ever in '11.

Just imagine how popular Les would be if Saban had stayed in Miami and Bama would still be struggling (assuming they hadn't made a better hire than CNS).

It would be off the charts.......
