exactly- Mullen can actually coach- the other two? Not so much

Why is he 0-6 against those two then?

Because he is the worst clock manager and situation manager in the SEC (and that includes Les who is probably second. If there is any doubt, see 2009 LSU and 2011 Auburn games.

Paraphrased from last year: I know if we throw the ball on that last play that we get two shots at it, but based on the situation we decided to try and run the ball

quote:

All 10 seconds remaining ticked off when Relf came up short. "Chris made the call on the last play of the game," Mullen said. "We gave him two choices (pass or run). I put it in his hands and he made the right call. I like that. I like that confidence. "Chris said, 'I feel great about this run call.' It looked like he had it and the kid made a heck of an open-field tackle."

1st and Goal at AUB 1 Vick Ballard rush for a loss of 1 yard to the Aub 2.
2nd and Goal at AUB 2 Timeout MISSISSIPPI ST, clock 0:10.
2nd and Goal at AUB 2 Chris Relf rush for 1 yard to the Aub 1.
End of 4th Quarter

Great clock management by the guy who "can actually coach" at the end of that 2011 AU/MSU game.
