No one is questioning whether he has been successful or not, but to say he has not been embarrassing is a lie. He was the laughing stock if college football for a 3 to 4 yr period. With his on the field decisions and his ridiculous quotes.

LSU fans were calling for his head. They have embraced him now though since he has managed to upset Bama a couple if times.

2005 - First year coaching and led LSU to a 11-2 record and finished top 5, so I'll assume this isn't one of those embarrassing years

2006 - Another 11-2 record and a Sugar Bowl W. So this can't be too embarrassing

2007 - National title

2008 - Ok, I'll give you this one with an 8-5 record. Still a winning record. Laughing stock? Pretty sure there was another coach this season who got embarrassed too, you might know who I'm talking about

2009 - 9-4 record. Not great. Notorious brain fart in the Ole Miss game.

2010 - 11-2 record. Yeah that was embarrassing.

2011 - 13-1. The only thing remotely embarrassing was the last game

Ok so besides 2008 and 2009 I guess, what is this 3 to 4 yr period of embarrassment you speak of? '

And you're certainly one to talk about coaches when YOU yourself wanted Nick Saban out of Tuscaloosa after you won last year's damn national championship.
